Our Story
Shelly Bermont

From classic strands

to more casual pieces knotted on unique shades of leather, Shelly has become the go-to for all things pearl. That reputation has been earned in part by her generosity to Big Sky's non-profits. Her pearl pieces have been mainstays and top-dollar producers at many local auctions benefitting the community she has lived in and loved for more than 20 years.

Best of all,

Shelly says she now realizes her dream of working one-on-one with clients to tailor pieces. For those interested in a custom pearl design, she takes appointments during which a client can choose her very own pearls from Shelly's stock and discuss ideas for that unique piece. She and her friendly, knowledgeable staff also host private parties for clients who want to gather friends for the joy of jewelry shopping. All you have to do is schedule a time. Shelly & company do the rest!

To those who visit

Shelly Bermont Fine Jewelry will find pieces fitting for everyone's budget. Like Big Sky, it offers a lovely variety, something for everyone. Shelly and her staff make each visitor welcome and help her (or him!) discern what works, both design- and price-wise.

For the Last 20 Years

Shelly has been designing and crafting elegant jewelry from her Big Sky workshop, incorporating the finest precious and semi-precious gemstones and exquisite pearls into unique treasures.

That dream became a reality in 2017,

when she opened Shelly Bermont Fine Jewelry in Big Sky's Meadow Village Center. The store itself is warm and welcoming. Its cases offer a tempting array of Shelly's artistry: everything from sparkling diamonds and precious metals to rare turquoise and other earthy exotics in every hue imaginable. Although she loves them all, her specialty is working with Tahitian and South Sea pearls.

Although her work established a following through fine jewelry stores across the country, she longed to create a retail space in Big Sky.

With a degree in fine arts

and multiple certifications from the Geologist Institute of America, she began years ago creating pieces that showcased her gift for design and craftsmanship.
